The jacket category was en FUEGO this week at Target. Faux fur, puffer, sherpa… no material left behind here. I didn’t even dabble in faux leather because it was just too overwhelming. I really had a hard time not coming home with all of these. I mean, I didn’t leave empty handed and I also had a little bit of non-buyers remorse on two which I had to make right when I got home. They also did not have all my sizes which will detail next.

Had me some quick and dirty fun at Target today. I was already wearing this hat because I hadn’t washed my hair in about three days….. so guess what, I found things that could be worn with a…… black hat. uhhhh. Luckily everything was very fall-esq so it wasn’t very hard. And if this isn’t a tribute to the versatility of this hat, I don’t know what is. That’s why I own in two colors. Okay, here we go

Online or in stores. Duh. But NOT every store will have every designer. It’s a mixed bag, so if you have your heart set on a specific collection, be sure to check the design partner finder to see which stores are carrying your favorite (s). Everything WILL be online and on the app.

Tips:

Fall is here…. according to retailers. It’s actually summer and in the mid-80’s here, but lets not split hairs. H&M’s storefront was filled with fall colors of camels, coppers, rusts, and browns. It’s basically a pumpkin spice latte of clothes. And I’m not mad about it. I wanted to share a couple of my favs.

It’s hard to look anywhere these days and not see leopard (or some sort of animal print) on every shirt, belt, bag or blanket. Snake skin is also slithering onto the scene. Pun intended. Because these trends are very right NOW, I don’t love spending too much money on these things. Leopard prints have come in and out of style since fashion was even a thing. If you see something that is a classic, it’s worth investing a little more for quality. IMO. For everything else, the styles change too much to justify a major spend. That being said, I rounded up a few of my favorite affordable animal print finds from this season. All these items are under $25. Score.

Even if I had the time and was willing to pay the money to get salon manicure on the regular, they NEVER last. Like, I don’t even make it out of the parking lot. If I do get the keys and credit card out without smudging them, the manicure is gone within 24 hours. Powders and gels are the most durable obviously, but they require a commitment that I don’t have in me in this season in my life. Maybe someday. The problem is that I LOVE a pretty set of nails.

I didn’t go to the sale, I didn’t have any ambassador access and I did not try anything on. How’s that for credibility? But I do shop the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale the way most people do, which is sitting on my computer in my yoga pants with a greasy bun on my head. I also realize that many of these things will go back on sale again in the fall so I’m knickers are not a knot about anything

I hadn’t step foot into an Express until a couple years ago. I don’t know why, it just fell off my radar. And let me tell you, WE ARE BACK.
