Target Run Gone Wild

We all know the drill. You need detergent and all of sudden in you’re trying on workout clothes and shoving Haribo gummy bears down your throat with a red cart full off ridiculously cute stuff you never knew you needed. Had one of dem days at Target this week. It all started in the Wild Fable section so I wanted to share some of my finds and a couple more….when I “got lost”..

This leopard top for $12 is the perfect amount of boxy but has enough length to not be too cropped. The boxy style allows you to size up one if you like a little more length. With short term trends like animal prints, I like to save my budget for more investment pieces . Can’t beat $12.

This nylon fanny pack might be one of my favorite $15 purchases this summer. I wear this so much with or without the kids. I wear two different ways and I am so thrilled this hands-free trend in happening right now. Its super light weight nylon so you can’t even feel it and its just big enough to hold the essentials (wallet, phone, keys, lip gloss) and not too big where it adds a ton of bulk.

These high rise destructed jean shorts are on clearance today for $14. They are a slightly longer length which is so nice when you want wear cut offs but also want to feel a bit more relaxed. I think this would look really cute with a boxy top like the leopard one, or with a fitted top tucked in. I should have shown those together. I will figure out this whole blogger thing eventually. Thanks for bearing with me.

I may or may not have wandered into a couple other departments and found a few other things. YIKES. I even bought a clearance 4th of July top for next year. I know real fashion bloggers post about things for the upcoming season, but I am not a real fashion blogger so I’m gonna share how I actually shop, which is buying things on discount right after the season has ended.

One section I hadn’t been into in a while was the office supply department. I forgot how that aisle sends a direct message to your brain that says “you are going to be so damn productive and organized if you have the cutest folders, stapler, journal and paperclips”. Or is that just my own sick mind? Regardless here are a couple of the highlights that got my organizational juices flowing:

Target, thanks for being you. xo,
