Leopard Round Up for $30 and Under

It’s hard to look anywhere these days and not see leopard (or some sort of animal print) on every shirt, belt, bag or blanket. Snake skin is also slithering onto the scene. Pun intended. Because these trends are very right NOW, I don’t love spending too much money on these things. Leopard prints have come in and out of style since fashion was born. If you see something that is a classic, it’s worth investing a little more for quality IMO. For everything else, the styles change too much to justify a major spend. That being said, I rounded up a few of my favorite affordable animal print finds from this season.

Let us start with good ole Target. All these items are under $25. Score. This midi skirt (above) is $20 and would also look great with boots and a sweater this fall and winter. I also think a graphic tee and tennis shoes would also be a fun look. Leopard is oddly versatile. However, it’s still “loud” and less is more with an animal print. I think shoes are the perfect place to insert some leopard and let the rest stay neutral. Ps. all shoes are 20% off with code SHOES20 today at Target.

This $12 boxy tee is the perfect amount of crop. Meaning it’s not that cropped. I sized up one size and I think the boxy shape allows for that. If you like the look of a cropped top without it being too short, this is a winner. My days of belly shirts are OVAH. Thank you so MUCH for the high waist trend. When low rise comes back, I quit.

Not my mother’s loafers. Work or jeans, these cute flats are a way more affordable to the popular Steve Madden ones from Nordstrom. They literally feel like slippers.

Here are a few more leopard print high lights from Target this season. Don’t forget the shoes are all 20% off today.

Let’s talk the “zon”. Amazon is making a major fashion play this year. I still have about a 50/50 success rate, but with the price and ease of returns, it’s worthy game. Below are some of my winners this season. The long cardigan was a cult favorite that could be dressed up or down. I LOVE my TKEEs sandals. I have a couple pairs. These are just over $50 so I broke the thirty dollar rule, but I wear mine so much I couldn’t leave them off. I think the leopard print gives, what could be a ‘boring-flip-flop-look’, a little something extra. The kimono I’ve worn as a swim suit cover up and with t-shirt and jeans. I love a double duty item. And the belt has already been worn ten times since I got it. At the beginning of summer.

Who knows what the next trend will be, certainly not me. Vogue editors have yet to consult me on next season’s picks. Weird. Thankfully, there are so many affordable players that allow us all to dabble with the right NOW.
