Target Fun Run
Had me some quick and dirty fun at Target today. I was already wearing this hat because I hadn’t washed my hair in about three days….. so guess what, I found things that could be worn with a…… black hat. uhhhh. Luckily everything was very fall-esq so it wasn’t very hard. And if this isn’t a tribute to the versatility of this hat, I don’t know what is. That’s why I own it in two colors. Okay, here we go.
The midi skirt. I think these skirts are so fun because you can wear them with sandals, boots, pumps or tennis shoes for completely different looks year round. Not many pieces can do that for $27.99. A moto jacket with this skirt would also be a fun pairing. The striped sweater I’m wearing is super soft and is also a nice staple for work or play $19.99. And I can’t say enough about the softness of A New Day’s basic tees. I have one in almost every color and style. I think they are all $8. YAS.
When I put on this jacket, I was feeling very edgy and afraid that I might be mistaken for a someone cooler than I am. Then I decided I was cool and gave my two-year old some more goldfish so that I could continue being edgy. In the dressing room. At Target. $49
Black is terrible to photograph. Can you see the look of disgust on my face? Or do I look more scared? Any who, this jacket is a denim-sherpa hybrid that is fun mix for the fall/winter. The black is much richer in person and has a very carefree-cool-girl-vibe to it.
It’s poncho time. I love a good wrap. These are both one-size-fits-all, which we all know, is not true. If you are super petite these will swallow you. The second one comes in a camel and a grey online which I did not see in the store. I ordered the camel color when I got home… because I have a major thing for camel. The color, not the animal. All under $30.
Okay so I couldn’t wear the hat with this number, so I did the next best thing. I cut off my head. This top is soooooo beyond soft and could be worn with joggers or with jeans, $28. I could not find these exact joggers online so I linked similar ones. Can you spy my gold-fish eating toddler? His hair is the exact shade of the wall and this sherpa top.
I swear I am not pissed off in this picture. I just can’t breathe. No biggie. For real, these were the last ones left in the store and they were about two sizes too small. Trust me, this is the MOST flattering angle I could get. But they are SO cute and I think they would look so much better in a looser fit, but you get the idea. Maybe? $27.99
This knit dress is (on sale for $15) from Prologue is so comfy and I love that it could worn either with the boots or tennis shoes, moto jacket or denim jacket…you get it. Truth be told, I got lazy here and decided to knock out both shoe looks with one picture.
Bonus- JUST IN!! This dress wasn’t even available online 24 hours ago so I left it off…. but low and behold. She is here for the taking. This material is ribbed and a little thicker so its super forgiving even though it hugs the body. LOVE this dress.
Well, there was greasy hair, bare feet, goldfish-eating toddlers and ill-fitted pants. I will most likely win blogger of the year. I’ll go prepare my speech. Until then, thanks for following along and feel free to ask any questions in the comments below!
