Yes to Express
I hadn’t step foot into an Express until a couple years ago. I don’t know why, it just fell off my radar. And let me tell you, WE ARE BACK. I wanted to share a couple of my favorite finds recently…. most are from Express which means they are ALL 40% off this weekend- so get ‘em while the gettin’s good.
Ruched Sleeve Boyfriend Blazer- I never thought I’d wear something my mom wore on the daily to bridge club. But here we are. The rouched sleeve forces some skin which makes this doable for me. Match it with some edgier pieces and it’s no longer your mother’s blazer. I mean, I am a mom, but you know what I mean. Right?
Super High Waisted Denim Angle Legging These come in THREE lengths (actually 4, if you include petite), which makes this tall chick VERY happy. These are super high waisted which is basically all I wear these days. If low rise comes back into style please leave me be. I’ll be in mourning.
Pink Floyd Graphic Tee- See the model’s picture of this tee. I like that there is a slight ruffle in the sleeve that softens it up just a BIT.
Leopard Heels are a staple and go with everything. Here are a couple options…

Tory Burch Wrap Studded Bracelet- This one is similar to the two studded bracelets I am wearing from Nordstrom.
Tie Front Top- This tie front top went right into the purchase pile. It can be tied in the front or the back. It’s called a crop, which I do NOT do. Please, I’m almost 40 and no one wants to see that. I normally wear a small but I sized up to a medium and added some high waisted shorts to eliminate the “crop” part.
High Waisted Linen-Blend Slash Tie shorts- These paper bag style shorts are so popular right now and I love how flattering they are. If you don’t have a waist, they give you one. And if you do, they highlight it. I found they all ran big and I sized down one in all of them in this style. There are lots of colors and both dark and light denim.

Super High Waisted Cinched Denim Shorts (above pic is the back of these shorts. Below is the front).
High Waisted Camo Leggings- These feel really good on! And they come in several colors. I was very surprised for some reason. And no weird crotch thing happening which I am sensitive to. I’m 5’10 and they are ankle length on me.
LOVE Muscle Tank- I threw this on just for the pic to try with the leggings and I ended up really liking it. Their muscle tank game is pretty strong!
These snake skin loafers for $24 dollars also made the cut at check out. I can wear these at work, with jeans, and with shorts- YAS!!!
