Like everyone, my kids have been riding the roller coaster of school opening/closure announcements. Are we or aren’t we? Full time, part-time, no-time? It’s the GIANT elephant in the room that every parent IS talking about. Getting the kids excited about this school year has been an unprecedented challenge. Some new gear can help get kids back in the spirit. I’ve partnered with Walmart to find a little retail therapy that won’t break the bank. Whether this school year is in a classroom or at our kitchen table, I found some great deals for my kiddoes at Walmart. I’ve recently started online shopping there and it’s SO convenient. We all know they have incredibly low prices, but what you may not know, is how stylish (and comfortable) their fashion options are. As a mom, I love buying staples that can be paired and layered with a plethora of options. Here is what we scored:

Comfort is king for these two. These Levi’s skinny jeans are so soft and have the adjustable waist line for growing kids. That’s a mom-kid double winner. These basic tees have a contrasting pocket detail that make it not-so-basic.

Whether he is at school or in our yard, this kid is active. For him, it’s hoops. Having something he can play in is still top priority. He was pretty stoked on the SHAQ high tops and athletic joggers.

As a kid, I remember getting so excited about a new set of supplies. If we go back to school in person, now more than ever, a personal set of supplies will be more important. If we have any version of remote learning, it might be time to stock up on some more legit supplies to get through the year. The nice thing about Walmart is the convenience of one-stop shopping and LOW prices.
