Are you fan person? I am not, or shall I say, I was not. But I married one. IYKYK. Fan people need to have fans on them on…. at all times. In good times and bad. Hot or cold. Home or not at home. Going on 14 years of marriage to fan life, I have grown to appreciate nuances of fans that I didn’t even know existed. Fans are not just four sticks spinning in the air as I had previously thought. Nope. It’s a great big world out there. A BIG ASS world to be more specific. Pun intended. And once you’ve lived with a Big Ass Fan, there is no going back.

This past December we moved into our new house after living in our old house for 15 years. It was our first home as a married couple. In our bedroom we had a ceiling fan that ….worked. It was loud, ugly and did very little by way of moving air around. My husband, who I quickly learned was a “fan guy”, insisted on running it every night. At this point it served as nothing more than an emotional support fan. Realizing my life would be one with fans in them, I started to research.

It didn’t take long to realize Big Ass Fans were the best in the biz. I’d seen their fans in commercial properties so I was thrilled to see they made residential products as well. This came in particularly handy when we moved to our current home that had FIVE old clunky fans (and no AC- not that would have mattered).

Lets get to the good stuff… the BEFORE and AFTERS. All of our rooms are different sizes with different ceiling heights. When it comes to fans, size matters. Let’s get to the other bedrooms. We chose their Haiku L fan for the kids rooms because they are smaller in size. They are wonderful and love that they disappear when you look into the room. They are QUIET- with a stellar list of features and options: remote control, timers, speeds, lights, syncs with Alexa. As for installation, we used a local electrician who knocked all 5 fans out in one day. The BAF customer service team was excellent. I had a couple questions about operation afterward and they talked me through everything.
