Target + Loungewear = Love

If a store was a comfort food, it would be Target. Their loungewear game has gone next level lately. It’s almost like they know there is a pandemic and people are craving leisure wear. I bet they even have a full time marketing manager. LOL.

I’m still doing a lot of online ordering these days (versus in store), so, we had some hits and some misses. Here we go.

Lets start with the tie dye, a fan favorite. I can’t quit it yet. I bought a large in the top which is two sizes up for me. I always do this when it’s cropped because I like the extra length, prefer the boxy oversized look and I’m 40. My cropped days are OVA. The bottoms were a miss for me. I like my joggers to have a tighter ankle band. I know that may not be ‘how the kids are wearing ‘em’ these days. But the ‘loose gathered look’ doesn’t do anything for my stick legs at 5’10. And that’s my truth. But they do run true to size. If you don’t have the weird ankle requirement, this set could be a great match for you. They are sold separately. So I’m keeping the hoodie.

I put these on and went awwwwwww. So soft. Thin- but in a light-weight-awesome sort of way. These feel JUST like one of my favorite pairs of pajamas from a much fancier brand for a fraction of the cost. And I love that it comes with shorts and/or joggers. I’m wearing a medium top and small bottoms. All sold separately.

Another miss for me, but definitely noteworthy. I had no idea this was a ONESIE when I bought it. I thought it was a two-piece set. I love the look of a romper-pajama, but not the practicality of it. If I am in leisure wear, I don’t want going to the bathroom to be a chore. Life is uncertain enough. I can’t afford to gamble. But to each their own. I will say, once it was on, it’s quite soft and cozy. This is also a size too big for me (this is a small). If you are up for the onesie challenge, I recommend sizing down here for sure.

Last but not least was the sweater set. Two pieces, yes! Pockets, yes! I am wearing a small top and an extra small bottom here. I could have probably stayed true to size on both (which is small for both). But here we are. This looks expensive and feels great. So cute. Bring on the fall weather.
