What I Actually Bought On Amazon This Month

Kicking off a new series. Well, I’m trying something new and if it’s well received, I’ll MAYBE do it again. But “kicking off a new series” sounds so profesh and blogger-like. Oh heyyyyy.

Putting this post together felt oddly vulnerable. That’s a bit dramatic. Okay. But it does kinda tell a story of what’s really going on in our lives. And like most people, REAL life is not that sexy. But it IS interesting. Sorta. I’ll list each one with a brief explanation and you decide.

1. Flexible bandaids- Starting off super exciting here. Gracie fell off her bike this month. Ouch. We have several scrapes and bruises. This also means that her three year-old brother has to wear matching ones so we are going through A LOT of bandaids. Ps. We LOVE these bandaids- they are the only ones we’ve tried that STAY ON.

2. A turtleneck sweater. This one will likely be a top seller when I post it. IT’s so GOOD. I’m excited to share this one. $35

3. White melamine bowls. Kinda random but….we like BIG bowls and the kids still can’t do porcelain. We only have little kiddie plastic ones which we have all grown out of. So we got big white melamine bowls. Look decent, kid friendly. 6-pack $20

4. Pet Odor Eliminator- We have artificial turf in our yard and dog. If you have those two, you know. It smells. So we are giving this a try. Stay tuned.

5. StudBuddy. This is a stud finder. We recently renovated our garage- from the studs up. Cory got this little widget to help him hang all his man-gadgets and for any future stud finding needs. He seems to like it. $9

6. Oribe Texturizing Spray- This was a part of prime day. I have yet to receive it. It’s a fan favorite. I’m told it gives texture and doubles as a dry shampoo of sorts. Tune into my IG stories to find out.

7. Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Pencil- I’ve been dabbling with eyebrow makeup recently. I’ve had a lot of fails. This was not one of them. For newbies like me, this is a great way to fill in my brows subtly and it’s easy to use.

8. A Koala Onsie. It’s Halloween and this is what Gracie wants to be. Easy.

9. Sunglasses. $26. Love a great pair of cheapos that don’t look like cheapos. #keep

9. Christopher Paolini Book series. Graham (our 9 year-old is a budding reader and needed a new series. This is a big jump from l graphic novel types, but he seems pretty into so far.

10. Under-the-sink mat. We replaced our kitchen sink this month and decided we needed to have something to protect our cabinet. LOVE these. It has a waterproof backing with a super absorbent top. You can trim it to fit your cabinet. So easy and practical. It comes in several colors. A plus. $19

11. Pronexa Eyelash Serum. I’ve been trialing eyelash serums for past couple years. This is the highest rated one amazon and even other sites. #research. $29

12. Cropped workout tank. I’ve started working out again after a 6-month hiatus that I credit to the pandemic. SIZE UP. I went up two sizes because I like the extra length. $16

13. Kimono. We are planning a vacation. And because Amazon reads our minds, this popped up on my feed. It’s a keeper and I will show it on my IG stories later this week. Off season is my jam.

14. Egg Containers. I finally caved on these. We eat a lot of eggs. My world didn’t change, but I do like them and would recommend. Here’s why: I can see how many eggs I have left (and when I need to buy more). Secondly, I can stack them (or put other things on them). They also look nice. Ha. Good enough for me.

15. My daily vitamins. I have these on subscribe n’ save on Amazon. So, yes, you will see these on next month’s list, should we do this again. Although, sometimes I delay a shipment if I forget too many.

16. Fly fan. I saw this at friend’s house and bought it while sitting at her table. It’s a simple fan you place next to food when you are entertaining, camping, or wherever you don’t want flies to be. Its quiet, it’s cheap and it works. $17
